TRAVERSER SYSTEM (Monorail & Locomotive)
The Traverser System is used for the lateral transferring of a Rail Vehicle from one track to another in a safe and reliable way automatically with load capacity 50-150 Tons . The Traverser is operated with a gear motor which enables it to move sideways slowly to the required parallel rail for transferring the railway vehicle. It consists of a modular system that can be equipped to suit the customer’s requirements. There is a control panel beside it which enabled the operator to start and stop the Traverser operation, speed control and distance measuring by mean of sensors or laser scanner. The Traverser can be moved by various roller wheels below its beam.
