CUSTOMIZED RAILWAY MAINTENANCE VEHICLES

The General Purpose Wagon (GPW) is a customized non-self-propelled Wagon which is used for the general maintenance of Railways assets along the tracks and/ or within the Depot. The main components of the GPW consists of a customized Flat Wagon c/w Braking System + End Couplers, a Diesel Genset c/w special Exhaust Filters + fume treatment System, customized Articulate Crane & Cherry Pickers, LED Field Lightings, Distribution Boards, integrated PLC/ HMI based Main Control Panel - with all Safety monitoring and interlocks system. This GPW vehicle is to help provide lifting services and maintenance access to hard to reach areas along the graded tracks, in the tunnels as well as in other service areas such as in the Depot, etc.
