AUTOMATIC UNDERCARRIAGE CLEANING SYSTEM
The Automatic Undercarriage Cleaning System (UCS) is a PLC controlled system equipped to suit various types of buses like Single Deck, Double Deck and Articulated buses at the Bus Depot’s Maintenance and Servicing workshops. This UCS is suited for detergent wash and stand-alone recycling systems. Undercarriage cleaning will be performed to bus prior to movement into the repair and maintenance shop. This operation involves the use of compressed air, detergent water and service water to remove loose dirt and particles from the undercarriage components. Compressed air is used to flush out excess dripping water after cleaning.
